Phuket expats, we need volunteers to help customise wheelchairs

… we’ll show you how during some upcoming workshops.

Living Waters Phuket is looking for 2-3 long-term expat volunteers who would be willing to train with our US trainers on assembling and modifying customisable wheelchairs.  The training will teach them how to take the measurements of patients and then fit them for a wheelchair that is customised to them.

• May 24 (afternoon)

• May 25 (full day)

• May 26 (full day)

Living Waters Phuket are training a total of 15 volunteers for redundancy but we need a few more to attend the workshops.  Some people are from the government, some from the local Red Cross,  some local expats and some from the health services.

The wheelchairs are being distributed across all of Thailand and customised for some of the recipients in provinces around the country outside of Phuket.

Living Waters Phuket have donated over 5,000 of the wheelchairs in total and partnering with the Thai Red Cross network around the country.

Contact [email protected] if you are available to assist.
