Tim Newton’s YouTube channel, in conjunction with Seeds of Change and Living Waters Phuket, were able to raise 212,468 baht from the sale of toy elephants made from Tim’s old ‘flamboyant’ Hawaiian shirts he used to wear in a previous job.
Every single donated baht went to the charity located on Koh Sirae.
“The shirts became a bit of a ‘thing’ and always got a lot of comments. I was happy to see the end of them and came up with idea with the director of Seeds of Change, Sam McCue.”
Tim conducted an online auction where his viewers bid for the funky toy elephants which are made by workers at the Seeds of Change charity on Key Sirae, Phuket.
“It was great to work with Tim and our team loved making the toy elephants for his viewers. We’re so happy the toy elephants have found new homes around the world. We really appreciate the support and generosity of Tim’s audience.”

Seeds of Change is a Charity Project. We teach underprivileged people to sew and craft using up cycled, donated and repurposed materials. The items we make are then sold and all profits from sales go to offer more people the opportunity to train and learn a life skill.
