Phuket Governor congratulates four young Phuketians for winning national competitions

Phuket Governor, Narong Woonsew, has congratulated and thanked a number of Phuket youth for winning national prizes and competitions.

The Governor gave a present to Kamonpu Anuchatkul, a student from Kajornkiet International School (KIS), for winning three first prizes from different racing competitions of True Visions, including Toyota Junior Kart Championships 2021, Cadet B8 – 9 Years, ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE THAILAND 2022, Micro Max Round 2 Bira Kart, Pattaya 8 May 2022, and ROK CUP THAILAND 2022.

The next winner was also from KIS, Ratsurang Wongkrasaemongkol, who won the excellency prize for proposing an academic work at the Thailand National Academic Conference on May 23 – 25, which was organised by the Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology Association of Thailand. She was also selected to attend the Asia Pacific Academic Conference organised by United Nations Population Fund  on June 2 – 3.

The Governor also congratulated 24 year old Wassana Yim-In, a runner and swimmer competing as a handicapped athlete who was selected to be the excellent female athlete with disability and was granted a certificate from the Sports Authority of Thailand on the National Sports Day 2021.

Wassana is a local Phuket athlete living in Koh Kaew and is currently studying bachelor’s degree in Sport Study for children with disabilities major. She is now attending Para-Cycling Road World Cup. She is reaching the 2nd winner so far among 17 cyclists around the world.
