The Phuket Hotels Association, which comprises 82 leading hotels and resorts on the island, has partnered with the EHL Hospitality Business School to offer online educational scholarships to 3 outstanding young hoteliers.
The association has pledged to support associates from 3 of its member hotels in Phuket by financing their 5 week courses in leadership, finance, and revenue, as part of its commitment to developing local talent.
The EHL Hospitality Business School, a renowned hospitality management university with campuses in Switzerland and Singapore, has donated each of the programmes. The scholarships were awarded to 3 young hoteliers last week after an application and evaluation process that received over 30 entries from eligible professionals across Phuket.
Thunchanok Kusolvititkul from Amanpuri will attend the leadership course, while Kris Atienza from The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Phuket, will undertake the finance program. Parichart Patchoo from Andara Resort & Villas will take the revenue training.
Upon completing their respective courses, the three young executives will be awarded certificates from the EHL Hospitality Business School, which are recognised by leading employers worldwide.
