New LIVE weather-cam for Phuket

Want to see the weather in Phuket, in real time? 5 Star Marine has just launched their new high-resolution LIVE weather cam. It’s a new camera installed above their offices in Boat Lagoon, Koh Kaew in Phuket. The camera faces north across the channel that travels between Boat Lagoon and the open sea of Phang Nga Bay.

Shaun Stenning, the managing director of 5 Star Marine believes his customers are always wanting to know what the weather is going to be like on the day of their planned trip to Phuket’s islands.

“Not just our customers, but people who love Phuket are also interested in the daily weather because it’s such a part of life here. Phuket’s all about the sun and the experiences, and with the weather, it’s either raining or it’s not. So we hope people tune in to see exactly what the current weather is like at our marina berth.”

Phuket’s weather can be very localised, particularly with rain where one part of the island may be bathed in sunshine while another part of the island may be experiencing a patch of rain.

The LIVE weather-cam from 5 Star Marine is available 24/7 and uses a high quality camera looking northward towards the top of the island from the east coast.

Phuket-GO also publishes the daily weather forecast, the most reliable in Phuket, every morning. You can check it out HERE.
