Phuket’s flood relief is still in full swing as volunteer groups continue to deliver much-need goods around the worst affected communities on the island. As a result of the co-ordination by the Phuket Hotels Association, the following items were delivered in the past 24 hours as the weather situation slowly improves…
• Over 2,900 hot meals were cooked, packaged and delivered to flood affected communities across Phuket
• 300+ Life Bags were packed and delivered
• 300 + Medical Kits were packed and delivered
• 140 Emergency Bedding items – mattresses were supplied to a central distribution centre
• Food, water, bedding, clothes and more were picked up and delivered to a central distribution centre by volunteers across the island
