Another road rage incident between a foreign motorbike rider and a Phuket taxi driver has gone viral, according to a Phuket Express report. In the video clip, the foreign national can be seen getting angry after the taxi driver honks his horn at him.
The incident happened on Tuesday night, May 9, in front of a well-known beach club in Kamala. It’s understood the taxi was waiting to pick up customers outside the club when the foreigner parked his motorbike in front of his car, blocking him in.
When the driver honked his horn, the motorbike rider allegedly gave him the middle finger to make his point. He then reportedly hit the taxi with his fist. It’s also alleged that he damaged the door of the taxi by driving into it before speeding away.
According to the report, the taxi driver, named only as Mr Adisak, says he’s filed a report with Kamala Police. He accuses the foreigner of parking in front of him and getting abusive after he honked his horn at him to ask him to move out of the way.
The police say they are reviewing footage of the incident and tracking down the foreign national to bring him in for questioning.
