Strong winds in Phuket for the next three days

Strong easterly winds, up to 30 kph will arrive in the waters around Phuket and persist until at least Saturday, according to the forecast.

Although there’s unlikely to be much accompanying rain, the strong winds may make journeys around Phang Nga Bay a bit bumpy but your boat tour provided will have access to all the latest weather reports and ensure you are safe.

Today the winds will persist into the evening without abating. The strongest winds are likely to be on Thursday this week. The good news is that the island’s popular west coast will have low waves with the ‘offshore’ winds.

The strong easterly airflow persists in southern Thailand, including on Samui, which also has easterly winds up to 30 kph today.

Yesterday, it was forecast that the upper part of Thailand will experience a cold spell from January 23 – 25, according to the Thai Meteorological Department.
