Two minivans collide in Phuket, four foreign tourists injured

A collision between two minivans in Patong has left five people injured, four of them foreign tourists. According to a Phuket Express report, the collision took place yesterday morning on Phra Baramee Road, the road at the north of the town which runs from th beach to the Patong Hill Road.

Rescue workers arrived on the scene to find two badly damaged minivans on the road. The driver of one of the vans was injured, along with four foreign tourists – 3 women and a man. All of the injured were taken to Patong Hospital for treatment.

Patong Police are investigating to establish the cause of the accident, which occurred on the same road on which a tour bus ploughed into a power pole a day before, seriously injuring the driver.
