Police in Phuket have arrested a man found with 10,504 methamphetamine pills (yaba) and crystal methamphetamine (ice). According to a Phuket Express report, the man was arrested in the Mueang district of the island.
Amphon Samorthai from the Border Patrol Police has named the suspect only as 40-year-old Mr Ban. It’s understood he was arrested at the entrance to Soi Bang She Lao on Thep Kasattri Road in the sub-district of Rassada.
The suspect is currently being held at Phuket City Police Station, where he faces charges of being in possession of Category 1 narcotics with intent to sell.
