Swiss man dies after jumping from Phuket Airport elevated walkway

Another foreigner has died after jumping from the Phuket Airport elevated walkway between the terminal and the car parking area, just behind the Phuket Airport international terminal.

This time, a Swiss man died after leaping from the elevated walkway. The incident happened on Friday night, September 22, at  7:30pm, prompting a swift response from local authorities.

Sakoo Police were informed and raved with police officers and emergency responders. Rescue teams found the 53 year old Swiss man in critical condition, suffering from severe bleeding and was immediately rushed to hospital. The man died on his way to the Thalang Hospital and was declared dead by doctors.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld at this time.

The incident was captured on CCTV and police are trying to investigate the circumstances that led to the man’s jump.
