Yuttana Pitak, the local Director of the Phuket Highways, has confirmed that ‘repairs’ have now started on the collapsed section of the west-bound section of the Patong Hill road.

A traffic diversion for north-bound traffic continues as teams move in to start the demolition process of an abandoned hotel which is in danger of cascading down onto the busy By Pass Road.
