Fight breaks out between French tourists in Phuket 7/Eleven

Pardon Monsieur. Police were called after a brawl broke out between two French men in a 7/Eleven convenience store in Patong.

The Phuket News reports that officers arrived at the store on Nanai Road 2, just after 6am yesterday, June 12. According to an eye witness, two French men were in the store when an argument broke out between them, which quickly escalated into a noisy and physical confrontation, causing damage in the store.

The two offenders have been named as 41 year old Walid Hadjab and 33 year old Moussa Ait Ouakli, both with French passports. They were taken to Patong Police Station for questioning and legal processing. It’s understood they have agreed to paying for the sdamges they caused inside the 7/Eleven.

The police did not give any reason for what started the fight and the incident was referred to Chalermchai Hirsawat, chief of Patong Police, for review.
