More unidentified debris washed ashore in Phang Nga

Following the discovery of mysterious debris on beaches in Phuket and Phang Nga earlier this week, more of the same has been found washed up in Phang Nga again. The unidentified debris was again found on Bang Niang Beach in the Takua Pa district (on the way to Khao Lak from Phuket).

According to a Phuket Express report, the latest find is about a metre wide and 2 metres in length. The authorities are investigating the discoveries from both beaches, with no indication yet of where the debris might have come from or if the objects in Phuket and Phang Nga are even connected.

There is much debris washed ashore on west coast beaches during the monsoon season, but officials remain stumped by what the latest finds might be. As always, there’s a lot of chatter and speculation on social media, including the possibility that the debris is from the recent Indian moon mission.
