“I miss Phuket people in the South. I like to eat Phuket food as it is very delicious. I am very happy to see lots of people in Phuket welcome me.”
The PM went on to praise the island, pointing out that his government had chosen Phuket to trial the “Sandbox” project, aimed at rebooting international tourism during the pandemic.
“In the past, I agreed to open the ‘Phuket Sandbox’ during the Covid-19 situation because I am confident that Phuket is one of the best tourism cities in the world. In addition, for Phuket Expo 2028, in which Phuket is aiming to be the host, will be a better future for Phuket.”
The PM added that the policies of the United Thai Nation Party aim to provide support for Phuket residents, to improve their lifestyles and to promote tourism on the island.
