A tuk-tuk driver in Patong has been slapped with a fine for allowing his foreign passenger to dance on the roof of the vehicle.
The Phuket Express reports that the incident, which was filmed and went viral on social media, caught the attention of Patong Police.

The unnamed tuk-tuk driver was subsequently summoned to Patong Police Station on Saturday, February 10. He was fined an undisclosed amount and told not to let passengers treat the roof of his vehicle as a dance floor.
According to the report, police didn’t say if they plan to track down the dancing foreigner to press charges or fine him too.
